A PDF to ESX converter transforms a static Xactimate PDF estimate or a Cotality PDF estimate into a structured ESX file that can be imported and edited inside Xactimate. Preserves line items, folders, and F9 notes. Instead of manually re-typing line items, quantities, and notes, you can convert the PDF and start working from an editable estimate in minutes. Estimate 10x faster by speeding up your Xactimate workflow.
Insurance adjusters often create the original estimate in Xactimate or Cotality, which means the estimate already exists in a structured format. In most cases, all a contractor needs is the ESX file to review the estimate, make revisions, and submit their bid. Unfortunately, adjusters frequently send only a PDF estimate. What could take an hour with the ESX file can easily turn into 10 hours of manual rebuilding.
EstimateHub's PDF to ESX conversion tool allows Contractors, Insurance Adjusters, Public Adjusters, Independent Estimators and Water Mitigation Specialists to convert Xactimate PDF estimates and Cotality PDF estimates into structured ESX files for direct import into Xactimate. Instead of manually rebuilding line items from a PDF, users can upload their estimate and receive an ESX file in minutes.
"I own a very busy mitigation & construction company. Adjusters would rarely send me their ESX file, so for years I have had to replicate large Insurance Adjuster estimates, then add what was missing, before submitting my final estimate. Now I upload the Adjuster's estimate to EstimateHub, obtain the ESX file, then import that file into my Xactimate. It literally saves 1-2 days of work. My turnaround used to take 7-10 business days; now I'm consistently turning around my estimates in 2-3 days. Seriously, 5 star guys!"
"I consistently receive 500+ line item estimates as I'm reconciling with Contractors. After receiving their PDF estimate, I ask for their Xactimate ESX file, as that always saves me significant time. About 50% of the time they take weeks to provide me their ESX file, they don't send the file at all, or they promise to send it but only if I agree to their total amount prior to my reconciliation efforts. EstimateHub has been a game changer as now I simply obtain my own ESX, same-day, and move the file forward swiftly."
"I love EstimateHub. I use it in 2 scenarios. The first, is when I have yet to build out my estimate and the Adjuster provided a big estimate which I want to work off of. The second, is when I have already prepared my estimate, and the Adjuster has provided theirs. I simply run their estimate through the PDF to ESX dashboard, import the ESX. Then I copy and paste my line items per room into the ESX file, and any items the adjuster is missing get added in, and any that are the same get skipped. This process saves me so much time and money."
"I send estimate requests to various Estimators and customarily I'm asked to wait weeks for an estimate due to the large-sized claims I handle. Now I simply obtain my own ESX file, and send it along with the Insurance Carrier's PDF to my Estimator. Turnaround for estimates shifted from 2 weeks on average down to 3-5 days, as the Estimators have nothing preventing them from immediately building out the estimate. I'm saving the Estimator, myself and my customers time. And most importantly, I'm saving money as my Estimators are billing less."
